NVCCN Conservation Efforts Database Webinars Now Available!

Three webinars on the Conservation Efforts Database (CED) are now available for viewing! These webinars go through an overview of the CED, how the CED is structured as well as data collection, and reporting. All webinar videos are 508 compliant.

CED Webinar 1/3 (Overview)
This is the first video in a 3-part series intended to capture the content and conversation from an in-person workshop held in Reno on April 18th, 2019. This video provides an overview of the CED, its’ history and why it was developed, and how it is used. An introduction to basic features and functions of the CED is also provided.

CED Webinar 2/3 (Structure and Data Collection)
This is the second video in a 3-part series intended to capture the content and conversation from an in-person workshop held in Reno on April 18th, 2019. This video takes a deeper dive into the threat-based organization of the CED. This video also walks through the types of data collected, and how information is collected on public lands, as well as private lands. Should be noted that this video contains draft examples that are subject to change.

CED Webinar 3/3 (Reporting)
This is the third video in a 3-part series intended to capture the content and conversation from an in-person workshop held in Reno on April 18th, 2019. This video provides an overview of the CED’s reporting features as well as how the CED is integrating with other decision support tools and existing databases.
